Sometimes you have to smile...

Okay so sometimes when I am beatdown, tired and I don't want to get out of the shower because I see the little people outside my shower door waiting for me, I have to smile. I think I smile because I don't want to cry but seriously when things are buggin (laundry, bills, messes/stepping on toys, making dinner in 90 degree weather, cleaning, and cleaning again, wondering if I am doing enough, trying to do enough, ...) I know I need to stop and realize a little more that these truly are going to be some of the best days of my life.

So I smile....

I smile when I think of telling Vanny that we are going to run errands and she disappears and then comes running in my office and says, "Ready to go mom!"
Hence the picture with her three purses and baby!

I smile when I think of Savannah washing the car and the child labor laws...she really volunteered to do the whole car, I promise!

I smile when I think of Lucy eating spagetti (she only has two teeth).
I smile when I think of Lucy in her little jeans...she is getting so big!

I smile when I think of Ka-Ka (a.k.a my one and only "sista wife") who saved me all last week when she came to help me with the girls while I went to hospital orientation (note: I don't smile when I think of hospital orientation). Thanx Ka you are the best (late movies/popcorn, my new pictures frames!, Savannah's new sticker/goal chart, Sterling's workout class, and to the GPS)!

I smile when I think of Vanny & Morgan making cookies!
I smile when I think of Vanny & Lucy fresh out of the tubby!

Very touching and so true! They are so precious. I've heard that we should be grateful for the handprints on the walls and windows because one day we will long for them to be there again! Love every minute!!!

i smile when my kids go to bed!! I smile when my husband changes one of my kids diapers. I smile when I actually get a few hours of sleep - in a row! I love my kids though.

And I agree with your post. Unlike you, I probably need to smile more. I always remember you with a smile on your face!!

hey, so I am one of those people who goes to a friend's blog, sees a name I think I recognize and then checks to see who it is. Thus, I found yours --- anyways, this is steph rosen (now steph brown) and just wanted to say you have the cutest little girls, and super fun to see how you are doing. You look great, and hopefully it won't make you too upset i took a little peek at what's going on in the life of cami. it would be fun to catch up. steph
