FIRST time for everything....

FIRST: Our friends, Jeff & Mindy, invited us to their annual St. Patty's Day party (Jeff & his friend Jay both served missions in Ireland...so it has become one of their traditions). We knew we had to come hard or go home, but we had know idea what to dress-up as. So Cam went as a weird, crazy Irish hoop player, and I went as the Octo mom on St. Patty's Day...yes, I'm disturbed & if you look closely you will see Cam defiantly needs some sleep. The party was a blast...yummy food, hilarious games, and we were pumped to be part of the action! Thanks Lind's! Irish & Luvin' It.

FIRST: Lucy sliced her hand Sunday morning with one of my craft tools. Vanny brought her upstairs crying and her hand covered in blood. I put some tissue on it and had Vanny hold pressure on it while I went to get some bandaging supplies from the closet. When I came back, I took back over from Vanny and then Vanny said, "Okay, I'm headed into the other room to say a prayer for Lucy, she really needs it."

FIRST: Vannah's first sewing lesson. I finally pulled out my quilting project that I had left over from San Diego...my Sun Bonnet Sue fabric & pattern. I can never start a new project without finishing an old...so before I get to the baby's blanket, I'm working on this one. It is super cute & fun, but a little challenging. Savannah is obsessed with sewing, so when Lucy takes her nap...we've been going to town on the sewing machine.

FIRST: A grown man on the top of a bunkbed with his girls reading Fancy Nancy, classic.
A few additional FIRST...
*Hate to admit but I've been watching alot of tv with this pregnancy. I mostly watch stuff I DVR because I usually fall asleep at 6pm, ha ha! So in the morning, the girls usually jump in bed with me and I will turn on some cartoons until I can force myself out of bed. The other morning, Lucy came...got all snuggled in with me...I grabbed the remote to turn on the tv and she turned to me and said as clear as day, "No American Idol, okay momma?!?!"
*Finding about 20 empty Yoplait yogurt cartons behind the stairs in the basement...where Savannah has been "pretending the garbage can is". um, okay.
*Getting ready to celebrate Savannah's 5th birthday this week...can't believe she will be 5... we are having a swim party at the Rec Center & she is slightly pumped!
