moments...

i don't have a problem admitting i'm not the biggest fan of sidewalk chalk...but we have lots of kiddos on our street and it's the "must do" for 5 year olds. i was headed out on a walk this morning...luving the sunshine & thought of spring in full effect...37 weeks pregnant and getting ready to push myelf up and down some hills in effort to put myself into labor (no pain, no gain right?!?)...when i walked down my drive-way and turned left down the sidewalk and saw little savannah's writing. you probably can't read it that well: lucy, dad, savannah, mom, jillian. i'm always grateful for little moments that remind me...despite the challenges, frustrations, aches & pains, worries...life is good & the importance of recognizing simplicity. someone once said if you love life, it will love you right back. it makes me remember why this time in my life is so important, so priceless, and so unique.

Great perspective on life, Cami. Sometimes those moments are not so sweet when we're in the rush of things and are annoyed with the latest mess. But that one is truly sweet. Can't wait to hear about this new little one! We're hoping she'll come early so you can surprise everyone by showing up to the wedding! :)

Cami & Cam-I just finished reading your lastest blog about Cam's last day...I was so choked up I could hardly read it. In some ways I feel like Dad and I have gone through it all too...I guess that is just being a parent. We have felt sad when you guys were sad and happy and excited during all your many great times. Cam, we are so very proud of all you have done... We love you very much. What is that saying...Behind every great man, there is an even greater woman. That is YOU Cami! Can't wait to see you TOMORROW!!! Love MOM
