man is back in town....holla back now! Life is good! Cam got back into town this past week and things are looking up for me!!! It is such a relief to have him home. The girls are sweating him and won't let him out of thier sight (I've become pretty much invisible to them - "He's my best friend mom" - Savannah). Although we moved here in June, Cam has only spent about a week here since then so we had a fun weekend running on the trails, going around the city, and just being together (plus I finally got to see the Bourne Supremacy...I had to wait for him - it was phenomenal!). So this morning as he headed off to St. Joe's, his first day of the 2nd year of his Residency, I made him take this pic...lookin good Dr. Kes!

Sometimes you have to smile...
Okay so sometimes when I am beatdown, tired and I don't want to get out of the shower because I see the little people outside my shower door waiting for me, I have to smile. I think I smile because I don't want to cry but seriously when things are buggin (laundry, bills, messes/stepping on toys, making dinner in 90 degree weather, cleaning, and cleaning again, wondering if I am doing enough, trying to do enough, ...) I know I need to stop and realize a little more that these truly are going to be some of the best days of my life.
So I smile....

Nanny & Poppie
COUSINS!!! Okay so Vannah seriously adores her cousins...copys them, calls them on her "cell phone", does whatever they say, fights with them one minute - kissin kousins the next, talks about them all the time! They are great friends and I know they will grow-up to be forever friends. I love to go home and be with my family and my sisters - they are my forever friends!

LEGACY...
So it got me to thinking (all night and this morning) whom do I admire? What is admirable? Their qualities? Their choices? I think in most ways it is someone I respect, think highly of, value.
- My parents...for so many reasons...for moving our family across the country after 20 years in Indiana and starting all over. For always, always putting us ("the girls") first. For always being loyal, for wanting the most for us (not giving us the most but teaching us what the "most" really is...family, education, setting goals, doing your best, being faithful, being kind, being respectful), for the sacrifices they have made to give me better opportunities...for so many things.
Okay just a random thought.
